Giovanni Trovato is a Ph.D. student at the University of Pisa. His main research interests lie in the interactions between Pythagoreanism, Platonism and the Peripatetic tradition. He has mostly worked on the production of forgeries attributed to Ancient Pythagoreans, as well as on Middle Platonist cosmology. His interest for Aristotle’s style stems in particular from his studies on De generatione et corruptione and the lost De philosophia.
