I am Roberto Di Tuccio, a PhD candidate in the Department of Classics and Ancient History at Durham University. My research investigates the fascinating construction of fictional hetairai in Lucian, Alciphron, and Aristaenetus (2nd-6th centuries CE), focussing on characterisation, gender, and performance. I am also passionate about teaching ancient drama and cultural history modules. My interest in characters and the interplay between social and fictive identities has brought me to join Aristotle Pezographos project. Here, I am eager to learn more about Aristotle’s rhetorical production and his intriguing literary and personality theories.
